Pinnacle Power Exhaust on...

Well I got my Pinnacle Power exhaust on, along with the Aero Turbine "non resonated" 4040 muffler "Diesel Power Products" and a 5" double walled MBRP tip and couldn't be happier!!! It's got the 12 valve stright piped sound, but is nice a quite in the cab! I ordered the Pinnacle exhaust with no muffler "cheaper that way" and cut the Aero muffler in. All my buddies are about the system. The only bad part is with the added boost from grinding down my stock fuel pin and I'm sure adding the exhaust, I now 30lbs of boost. I'm about to slip the transmission, so I have to cool my jets. All and all it's a good system!

how was the fit on the down pipe? the 2 i have were bent wrong and hit the frame. did they fix that problem? was it 3 to 3. 5 and then 4 inch after the down pipe?

Well the DP was TIGHT! very tight, but it cleared everything okay... We welded in extra supports to minimize pipe movement and everything seems to be okay! The angles on the DP were okay. It's 3" for 8"s and then 3. 5 until after the transfer case into 4"...

the ones i got were for 2 wheel drive, i hope they fixed it, i have a welder and could cut and weld it back, but most people dont have that option and after cutting off the factory setup you would be pretty much screwed. it sounds awesome even without a muffler.

Well I had 3 buddies with me and we all agreed that with the Aero Turbine it sounded better. It still has a stright piped sound, but cut the harshness of the stright pipe out, of that makes any sence. Loud!, but good sound... .
