Anybody have any experience with these tires? I found a place that has them to fit my dually, in load range E, they have an all-terrain tread, and are advertised as having "incredible" handling and long wear... .

They look good and the price is right...

I hope I'm not too late to chime in here.

A friend of mine had them on a 1500 Chevy 4x4. He bought them because the price was right, but the wear characteristics showed how expensive they were. When he sold the truck with 20,000 on the tires they looked terrible and he rotated them twice.

You get what you pay for, right?

They were talking these tires up on an 'off road' racing show this weekend. I am considering them myself, as soon as the Michelins wear out.

Good Luck TOM

Thanks, Dennis, and Ryan... . well, I haven't bought any yet. I seriously doubt I'll find anything better than Michelin for the $$$. I'd just like to have something a little more mean-looking on there, but can't see spending that kinda money for 6 months worth (or less!!) of tires... . The Michelins are incredible. On a dually, they stick like glue. Can't hardly break them loose ... . and they wear like iron. (57,000 miles)These would have lasted longer, but I avoided getting them rotated as often as I should have, due to lack of competent service techs at all the tire stores in this area...

Guys,

HVAC has or had some low profile racing type tires on the Red Rocket that are "something Scorpion", although they may be totally different tires that these you are talking about here. You might ask him about them.
