I'm a nostalgic Mopar guy. Love those slow A-833 4-speeds.

Where can I buy a Pistol Grip for my Whiplash shifter?

Will it fit?

Thanks.

Ahhhh, nice to see another Mopar guy. There is a company called gunslinger up in Reno. They make a pistol grip shifter.

Initially the first products were a pistol grip shifter for the auto slap stick. A buddy put one in his '70 Challenger and it turned out very nice. I have no personal experience with them, but the products seemed very high quality and he had no trouble installing it. I believe they've expanded their product line, and I've heard nothing but good reviews about it. Take a peek at the site, and you might drop them a line. Hope this helps.

I know the guy who re-pops the pistol grip shift levers for the muscle cars and he said he would make some for our trucks If I could come up with a stick so he could get the fitment and bends right. It would be much better than the screw on one that the other guy makes.

I posted about this shifter to see the interest or find an extra lever and had very little response.

Hurst Pistol Grip

I am very interested Oo. in getting a 1970 B Body style (Road Runner / Super Bee) shifter handle to fit my nv4500. I thought I saw something similiar on "Trucks" on Spike network this weekend. Is Mr. Gasket/Hurst making this yet?

Yes, bought it at Summitt Racing web-site, but the threads don't match the whiplash shifter. They are made for late model camary & firechickens.

I was able to tig weld to proper thread. I like it for control of ****er l-r going from 2-3 & 4-5
