In the process of rebuilding an '01 HO engine. Pulled the crank tonight and found the #1 and 2 piston cooling jet missing. The part is in the block at the main bearing but seems to be broken off even with the block on the piston side. Wanted to replace them anyway and think I have heard that some of the engines have metal jets. Has anyone heard of this or possibly know a part number for them? If I call Cummins, the first thing that they will ask for is the engine number and that will get another plastic set. Didn't find any of the pieces in the engine, could they possibly be made this way? Didn't see any piston damage. Have machined several of these blocks but never taken one apart.

They're pretty simple to get so your local Cummins place shouldn't need an eng sn. There's only two kinds so if you tell them you need oilers for a 6B they should know exactly what to get. If you're doing a complete build, the lower gasket kit will have those in there and everything else you'll need too.
