piston mellted

took out my injectors to have them rebuilt now found out have #1 piston melted need some info what would be the best option or route to go with it before i go back together with the ne injectors info greatly appreciated#@$%!#@$%!

Banks wont warranty it... plenty of melted pistons have happened on bone stock trucks. If you hang an injector with a common rail and don't catch it quick enough, you'll toast a piston

good luck with banks, you won't get anywhere, I agree I have seen many injectors stick on stock trucks, bad fuel, high idle times, poor quality of fuel are the most common problems

true probably wont get any where with them still need to figure out how to get it fixed need to find a reliable mechanic in nm to get it going again

Kinda far from you but Richard Brown did an amazing job on my truck. He was well worth the 1000+ mile tow out there and drive back... As soon as I get some more money I will be driving back out there to have him do the work, that is how much I liked him and his shop...

Ya, Richard (Reb) Brown and Erick Brown are awesome, Erick supplies me with parts and they both have vast knowledge. They just built ericks truck into a 1180hp monster on fuel only

A 1000 miles is a bit far to tow a truck. I'm sure he can find someone much closer. Maybe even Albuquerque if he has to.
