I've been reading about all the upgrades you guy's are doing to get more power. I am also addicted to more power and need some advice as to where I should stop to keep it reliable but still have plenty of GO! I plan on doing an AFE drop in filter, 5'' exhaust and possibly injector's. My problem is that I don't know what the stock turbo can handle. I have straightpiped stock exhaust and egt's can get up there quick along with boost psi. I don't know how accurate the TST controller w/ the gauges is, but it show's boost at wot around 38,39 sometimes
. I think anything over 35 is a waste if I'm not mistakin. Will the 5" help this? Also I would like to get Hp around 400-450 if possible. Right now it's around 318hp and718tq. I don't want to get into the whole O-ringing the head deal. If I do injector's, I'm worried about it running funny. I've read about idleing and surging problem's with them. Is this common and to be expected? I rarely pull anything but would maybe like to drag race it a few time's. I do want more power and some smoke so if you guy's have advice or some idea's, I'm all ear's, or should I say eye's. Thank's for any input!
