Anyone using the ones from dodge? I see that other companys are making them, anyone add these on there truck. You think a 38K truck would have them from the factory.

I was going to buy them until I compared their price to having bed liner sprayed on the bed rails and top edge of the tail gate. The spray in was actually cheaper and I believe much more durable.

Spend the money on a Line-X or Rhino Liner, you won't regret it. $350-430. 00 depending on where you live. Love my Line-X, takes a beating and no rust to worry about under plastic.

I have the plastic bed rails on my truck. I like them, they look good.

I guess I don't understand bed liners, you pay hundreds of dollars to cover up the paint in the name of protecting it. Then you never see the paint you are protecting again? For $3-400 you can have the bed resprayed at trade in if you want. Honestly though, who cares if the inside of the bed of your truck gets some scratches? Its a truck. I do have the rubber mat down though to keep things from sliding around back there, something bed liners don't help with either. Just my 2 cents

all my trucks have had spray in liners, it is a added value @ trade in and keeps it all looking great. I don't hane anything sliding on mine. I carry gas cans, and tools all the time. Just MO

I have the Bushwhacker bed rail caps, and they're ok. Great company, since they sent a free replacement tailgate cap that blew off in some high winds in Palm Springs. If my toolbox didn't hold them down, the side caps would be gone too. The plastic is holding up fine, but eventually the heat and cold break down the 3M tape that keeps the caps on the truck. No tape, no caps. I'll eventually get the bed sprayed, but I have the Bedrug for now. They are great too, sending me a new set of 3M tape for the tailgate as well. For about $100, you keep the rails from getting scratched and rusting. Hope this helps.

Picture of my 2002. I did the same thing with my 2004. I have damaged the Rhino liner dragging heavy stuff across the tailgate. Reason I went with the plastic bed rail caps. If I damage them, I replace them. They are tough too!

i don't have rail caps on the sides [truck cap covers them] but i got the bushwacker tailgate edge one. works nice, and looks good i think. i went with the diamond plate looking plastic one. it goes on with the 3M double side tape, although mine is no longer attached with it [my rust proofing spray seems to disolve the adheasive the 3M has on it] but my bedrug is velcro'd to the edge so it isn't going anywhere

I got a non-skid version of an identical factory version plastic drop in liner for $140 and put another $100 in the extra large coverage Bushwacker caps..... 240 total and everything is replacable and in my opinion prevents more dents in the sheet metal than sprayins !

I went with color matched Rino liner and color matched Bushwacker diamond plate caps. You can check it out, click on reader rig's.

Unfortunately, Rhino only adds pigment to their liner and the liner will fade, reds turn pink, beiges turn green. Most LINE-X dealers add pigment (also) but then spray the liner with Dupont Nason paint. Nason is an automotive paint and the liner will not fade. Also, the Nason will better match the truck's metallic paint properties.

I have the factory under-rail bed liner. I was worried about scratching the paint on the top of the bed rails. I bought some of the 4" wide clear 3M Scotchcal Paint Protective Film from Geno's (under "Truck Care Products") and put that on the bed rails. It is virtually invisible and lets the color shine through. It does a great job of protecting the paint (I would like to cover the hole truck in this stuff).
