Are you talking about the trim turning white after you get wax on it from waxing your truck if so put some peanut butter on it and it takes the white haze off. I didn't beleve it till I tryed it. I read about this on VWVortex http://www.vwvortex.com/ under there detaleing section. I put it on with my finger and then rub the trim with a tootbrush, wipe off and then wash. Everbody that has tryed it agrees.
I will try the peanut butter and see how it works. I never got wax on my trim, just using armor all after a few years has turned it white. I wonder what product out there will help keep the plastic looking new without turning it white in a few years.
I use armor all also. But I use the stuff in the clear bottle. it smells awful, but does a good job and lasts longer than others I have tried. Dont use it on the interior.
I really need to try Mothers B to BL. Dont know till you try!
It is the best thing! I use it from plastic trim to the dash. Good for tires too. It has a $300 guarantee on the dash not cracking and it doesn't wash off as easy as other products
Found these links on those VW sites I look at. Klasse is a very good wax easy on and easy off and it lasts. Mircofiber towels are something to try if you have never used them.
Bob cochran, I got it autozone or murrys discount auto,I don't know if their out by you or not. You can always call Mothers and ask them who caries that product in your area.
Heres something that took me a while to figure out. My black trim and tires were starting to look bad and faded out. Finally discovered it was the wax that I was putting on at the coin car wash. Will never use that again!
