Well I put the #6 plate in last week had it set almost all the way back so i decided to see how much more HP i could squeeze out of it. I slid it all the way forward, gatit together started it up and let it idle for a sec. then it died, so i took it for a drive went about a mile and it was a dog. It was like it was being drownd with fuel. What is yalls opinion on this. Thanks

Also, make sure the AFC housing is full forward as well. I forgot to check mine, when I slid my plate. Could barely tell a difference in power at all. Checked the housing, and it was full back. Slid it all the way forward again, found the power. :D

Follow the instructions in the above link and do the Gov. arm adjustment if you want to run the #6 full fwd.

The #6 plate is notorious for the arm going under at full fwd.
