IC SMOKE....... Featured RIG

I'm picking the Seahawks cause it's the only way to catch the leader... ... ... and I don't play for second... ... ... ... ..... :-laf

Only way I can catch up is by pickin the team thats not supposed to win.

Seattle-15

I guess it would be nice to say that the Broncos lost to the Superbowl champs, and I guess seein the bus win in his hometown would be cool, but I'm a sore loser. I want Armpittsburgh to get beaten, I hate Rothershmerger, he ain't no no. 7.

But, I know the planets will align once again, and I will sit there drawing a blank, the score will probably 41-0 and I will look like an idiot once again.

Sorry, I'm still ****** over yesterday. #@$%!

Pittsburgh will probably win but I'm throwing my 15 to Seattle.

That city needs a championship... ..... uh... . besides the Storm

Seattle 15

Well I am pretty much out of it now, several others ahead of me greedily following suit and going for the win... ... ... ... . :-laf I have a had time on who to cheer on in this game. I really don't like either one. Seattle has never been in or won a Superbowl but there uniforms are just as ugly as the Steelers ;) I think they are both just average teams ( they could possibly in the future be more if injuries and free agency don't cause set backs) that outlasted everyone so it is an even match at least. I think I'll just wait right until the end and who ever is "hopefully" coming from behind will get my support at the wire. I would like to see a real knock down slug fest with a score of about 7 to 10, a field goal winning it at the end.

Luckily the perfect season stands alone, a goal that only one team has ever achieved and so the memory of how to play real football remains until someone shows it can be done another way. Hut hut, a cloud of dust, the sound of helmets cracking, bone breaking... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... a flag thrown against a full back for unneccessary roughness ( for taking a side trip on the way to the goal line to let a defensive back know what the game is really about :-laf )..... those were the days. ;)

OK, this is kinda late, just thought of this, so if Bob Wagner gets this, before kick-off...

We should have a tie breaker of total number of points scored by both teams, whoever is closer.

Because if the Steelers win, Lon wins the pool. But if Seattle wins, Bob & I tie for the lead.

So here is my tie breaker, total number:

48 pts. (31-17 Seattle wins)

This may be a sign

I was the 7th caller into Kiro710's contest this morning at 8:15

and I won an official superbowl program and a replica coin from coin toss.

I am pumped and hope that this is a sign :-laf

Free is good

Ya know, I'm happy the Steelers won ('cause of the pool here), but my heart was with the Seahawks. Must be an AFC West thing - though I can't imagine cheering for the Raiders or Chiefs - or even Chargers! Seattle SHOULD'VE won the game - they went up and down the field in the first half but couldn't put the biscuit in the basket. I agree with Mike Holmgren that the Roethlisberger TD in the first half was a bad call - I don't think the ball crossed the plane of the goalline. Once Seattle caught that interception then put it in the endzone so efficiently, I had hope they'd win (even with my pool pick) - but it was not to be. All hail the Pittsburgh Steelers, Champions of the World. Next year for the Denver Broncos (hey, I can dream!).
