Please explain stacking.

I've searched the forum and have found many references to the term but no definition.

Stacking is just using more than one box or enhancement at the same time. In my case I have the TST "stacked" with the Power Pup and the VA C3. 1, so "stacked = used in conjunction with".

Basically, a stak is, as Richard said, using more than one box at a time. This can be done a variety of ways. He is using a downloader in the ecm and "stacking" a second box on it by hooking ti up under the hood as normal. Then he takes it a little farther by adding a third box which interrups the signal output of the first one, modifies it again and sends that to the engine. A good stack can give you additional signal massaging capability and the ability to refine your engine parameters to make the best combination of power and efficiency. A poor stack will make a lot of smoke and heat and not so much power. It can also damage engine components.

So for example I could stack a Superchip programmer with a Juice module.

Sure could but that stack would probably get you a little too much timing advance.

I am guessing that a good stack would be one box that deals more with the fueling aspect and one box that deals with the timing aspect of it? What are some good combinations? I have a Banks Six Gun w/speed loader,so what would work with it? Or does that particular box control both timing and fuel?
