i just bought a 99 2500 ctd white 4x4 5. 9



so far i have put in a pac brake with a ats triple commander

a bd diesel x monitor with egts trans temp and boost can you point me in the right direction for more mods i also have black cloud 7" miter cut stacks cummin but i want lots more power and of course smoke!



so whats next any ideas?

Hi Nathan welcome to TDR, there is a world of information here on this site a lot of very knowledgeable people. I am not one of them. ! when you put on your x monitor {exh temp} did you put it pre turbo or post. if post have it moved its much more acurate. next you need a fuel pressure gauge to monitor your fuel pressure. too low of fuel pressure will kill your injecter pump. most say to stay above 8 psi. next i moved my fuel pump to the frame right infront of the fuel tank. i left the original on the engine and added a second pump. its easier on the pump to push than to pull. see my signature very mild mods but with the pac brake thats about all the 47 re trany will take. I will in the future want a few more HP and will at the very least need a torque converter and valve body. now if you want serious HP bring your wallet... . no two wallets. the guys on here that know what they are doing will take over from here. again welcome robert
