Alright,

I have a hard time weighing my options when there are so many choices to be made. So I would like to see what you all think.

My truck is exactly as described in my sig right now.

I have a Comp box sitting on my desk begging to be put on, but I want to wait until my warranty is up (about 12,000 more mi. ).

The plan is, once the warranty is up to do twins (not sure what setup), some injectors (also not sure), clutch SB Con something, Comp, etc...

Should I???

1. Leave it alone and buy everything I want and install it at one time.

2. Get a MAD ECM for now and ditch the EZ. And have the ECM reflashed when its time to bomb. Or sell the ECM since I hear they don't like boxes much

3. fill in the blank, I already forgot my other options.

Thanks in advance,

R. J.

Man! You have a lot of restraint, waiting for that 12k miles to end your warrantee. :-laf I think a lot depends on how you use your truck. Mine is my daily transportation. I do believe the best single mod was the MAD CaTCHER. I just love the instant throttle response. Before the CaTCHER, I used an EZ & Formula 1's Mach 1. 5's. I liked the injectors better than the EZ as the power delivery was smoother. After the CaTCHER, I tapped the wire with a Blue Chip APB. It adds a lot of power but it's getting to be "overkill"

What are you worried about? If it hasn't blown up in the last 88k miles, it probably won't in the next 12k.

Now all the bombs you have planned may help something to break. So you wait for 12k miles, break something, and pay for it. Or you BOMB now, break something, and MAYBE you can get the dealer to cover it.

Seems to me you are better off going for it now (only if you are 100% planning to do the mods).
