I'm looking for a CD radio that will fit in my dad's 93 CTD. if anyone knows where I might find one, I'd appreciate the tip.

Thanks

Matt

I don't think you can find a stock radio w/cd player for the 93. The upgrade was a cassette player. If you go to a good car stereo shop they have plates which fill the stock opening and accept aftermarket stereos. I have a shelf full of stock am/fm cassette players out of my trucks. :D

A second generation AM/Fm/CD/Cassette will work in the 93. I had done that to my old 92 not long before I sold it. It was the factory replacement version which I had bought at a Mopar show... . Andy

Why stay stock... call a stereo shop and upgrade, it will be a lot cheaper and you will have better sound. It literally takes 1/2 hour to change.

I have a complete high end system sitting in the garage collecting dust, I prefer the look and simplicity of a stock deck over anything aftermarket. Besides, it's for my dads truck ;)

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll keep an eye on e-bay and hope I can remember to keep bidding on one once I see it.

I don't think so, but it seems that one from a 2000 or older will plug right in there and be right at home.

Shoot if thats the case everyone wake up!! Someone on here has to have one gaining dust on the shelf from a stereo upgrade. Who wants to hook the M man up???

Local salvage yard has sold me two "overrun" brand new Mopar AM/FM Cass/CD players. I put one in Mom's 99 and in Sister's 97. $300 a pop.
