Could it be a bad fuel load? Did you fill up just before you started noticing it running poorly?
If your truck is an '04 and it has 110K miles on it, you are at a very high risk of lift pump failure. You'll know when it quits too. It will just stop running. You will crank and crank to get it restarted and it may start for a few seconds and it will then stop again. You may, at that point, get it to start but it will stall if you give it any fuel - you might be able to slip it into gear and limp it off the road if you have a nice tight torque converter.
If I were you, I'd go ahead and have the dealer do the lift pump retro-fit right away, especially since you are not mechanically inclined. A few bucks at the dealer is WAY better than having your truck quit for good in traffic (probably at night and in the rain - if your luck is like mine).
