I was changing my oil for the first time today on the 07 to get the factory oil out. As I was looking around I saw this part loose between the ECM and the top rim of the oil pan. .  Truck runs great so I assume this was a left over part from Saltillo... I hope it's worth LOTS of money!! Is it an injector line holder????? Thanks!!

Adapter to go from metric oil gallery thread size to 1/8npt for pressure sender and or oil line.

Now you have a test adapter.

Thanks everyone!! LOLOL Say, getting that factory oil filter off was a B&*(&)(&^&*!!!!!!!! And then it says in the owners manual to not overtighten the filter...

Cool, I wish I had one of those. Could be used to install a pressure gauge in the galley port.

I keep hoping to find a DRB-III mistakenly left somewhere in the truck, but no luck for 4 years. :(

So that gorilla is still working there.....

My understanding is that it is a gorilla friendly non-hostle, gender neutral, work enviroment and that steps have been taken to ensure that the workforce is at least 47. 683% gorilla. To this end they are hiring "un-documented" gorilla's at full benefits to ensure proportional representation.

On the other forum, a guy who works at a cummins factory explained to me that the filter is NOT too tight. No tighter than we put them on, they spray a CLEAR COAT sealent over the entire engine prior to them being shipped to the assembly factory. It's that stuff that is hard to break the seal. They also DO NOT lube the top of the filter mount prior to instillation like we do... very interesting!!

Rbatelle, if you want that part I will send it!
