especially aluminum ones. Has anybody ever coated a steel one top and bottome in linex? What particular features do you/don't you like about them? Thanks

If you go to my readers forum I have some pictures of the 04 with flatbed. I line-xed the deck and back. (One of these days I'll update the pics to my 97 with flatbed and delete the 04 but it is such a pain to get decent quality pics of the size permitted. ) It is definately well worth the $250.

We do not recommend doing the sides/rails. We have a company flatbed that totally line-xed the flatbed and the rails where stuff gets chained/strapped/roped down has some cracks/peels.

I have a few worn spots where I have my "shack" cinched down. Consider this my oversite by not putting some protection down and not the product. Someday maybe I'll have them do some touch up. Haul firewood and such with no complaints.

Check my pics in RR.

It was a beat up used bed I got cheap at an auction. Still don't have the new piece for the rear part of the floor installed yet.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the bed is, the fuel filler is down too low and it dropped my mileage some. To fuel up, sometimes I need to put a stack of short 2x4s under my drivers side front tire, of fuel wants to spill out. even then, I can't EVER use the stops on the nozzle. Have to hold it open manually. Gonna change that as well.

Other than that, I wouldn't consider going back to a truck box.

My Aluminum bed weighs a little less than the dually box does. Dad and I set it on the truck by hand.
