I was oiling moving parts, throttle linkage ,wastegate actuator linkage , etc when I noticed the wastegate actuator hose just dangling there . After closer inspection I noticed that the other end on the turbo was plugged off , This was obviously done by the previous owner. I don't mean to ask a stupid question but is it ok to leave it like it is since i've been driving like this for months already or should I put the fitting back in... ANY INPUT IS VERY WELCOME...

It depends on how much boost you are getting. You don't need a lot of boost for the 230HP. Mine used to go up to 32# but it actually runs better now that I've dropped it to 26#. Too much boost just makes the motor work harder and actually reduces power because there is not enough fuel to need all the extra air and your motor has to work to give you that air. There have been many good posts on this subject recently. I would guess with the wastegate signal plugged you may be getting as much as 35# or more of boost, way more than you need. If you don't have gauges, get some and then order the adjustable elbow from TST to get your pressure in the efficiency zone.

You are your own warrenty station

You should be safe if you have not increased fueling. Mine is plugged and the cam plate is slid forward. I can hit about 30 psi of boost. If I installed a tst plate I would definatly hook the wastegate back up. You may wan't to look for other little adjustments or mods done to the motor.
