I think an better way to reduce the debt would be to relocate people out of disaster prone areas and eliminate repetitive disaster expenses like New Orleans, the Mississippi Valley, parts of California and any other area below sea level.



Perhaps Pluto will turn out to be a suitable location for the "displacees".



Or have a Federal "Disaster Prone Area" Tax and let them pay their own bills.

Education? PLEASE!!!!! What a WASTE of money! The best thing to do would be GET RID of the department of education and the teachers unions or better yet, get the government out of the education industry all together. There is nothing the government can do that private industry cannot do better.

I agree NASA's funding should be cut though, but don't waste the money on the worthless moneypits of government education.

I just heard we have spent 2 trillion in Iraq, THUS FAR. Lets cut funding for the White House instead, at least Nasa gives back some cool pictures :-laf



Space exploration is the ONLY good legacy we are giving to the future. We spend more on fake tits than on Altheizmers research.

I think we should quadruple NASA's budget (which would still be a mere fraction of the financial and scientific benefits) and eliminate welfare and public schools. I think the Pluto mission though is a waste of money and I would rather see the money put toward manned spaceflight with a heavy dose of private business involvement.
