PM mailbox options...

Is there a way that I can set a default to automatically save a 'sent' PM rather than having to manually check box save it?



I would rather have all sent PM saved to which I can then go back and delete as required.

No there isn't. I can only set it to default on or off for everyone. The default is to save them but when we had it that way we'd field ~30-40 emails a month why people couldn't receive emails. It was because their sent box was full and they didn't know that even existed. That's why we changed the default to not save them.
