PM problem

I find out now if I reply to PM's prior to viewing today's posted messages that once I send the PM, it dumps the posted messages for that day. Would it be better to view the posted messages first them do the PM's or is there a fix.

I skip the PMs and go to the forums first for the same reason. I think what is happening is that if you take too long answering mail before you go to the forums you are automatically logged off after a certain amount of time. When you finally go back to the forums it's like logging on again, the server figures your last visit was when you first logged on.

Thanks bill, I'll give that a shot, I also have it set up to E-mail me when PM'ed so I will turn that off also.

Jim, problem with turning off the email notification is that if you get in a hurry and click to a new page before the one you are on is fully loaded you won't get the popup notification since it only pops up after the page is fully loaded. The email notification won't effect anything on the tdr site anyway.
