I will be putting one of these in as soon as it shows up what do you guys think of this box

Hey Wiz, glad to see ya back on the board. I like mine alot, except for the defueling shutter I get when I let off the go pedal in levels 7-9. I usually run level 2 for fun, 6 for more fun, 9 for total eradication . Let us know what you think once it's installed.

I don't have one but will as soon as I get the $$$$ for the new southbend clutch. I have a PM2 with some reprograming (had to sign one of those wavers) and I really like it. TST is a great place to deal with really nice people up there.

PM3 COMP

I've had the competition PM for about a year now and am very very pleased. Like Chappel will tell you though, it will make some very high EGTs very fast. Plus, I've got DD stage IIs. I've never really honked on my truck with it set over 6. Traction is such a problem anyway, it doesn't seem to help much, plus like others have said, defueling shutter is down right nasty. So, I keep in on 5 or less, unless the competition looks real tough. (Haven't been beat yet).



Since the PM3, I have added 4" exhaust to try to help EGTs. No real help with EGTs.



BHAF -- No help.



Piers modified turbo with non-wastegated 16cm housing on the workbench--- I hope this helps, at least some.



As Piers and others have told me though, when racing or just fooling around, temporary (a few seconds) EGTs above 1300 won't kill you. Just don't sustain them.

I plan to either have mine upgraded to the Comp or a custom map put on my box.

Thanks for the info, mine will be here soon hopefully maybe then I will be able to turn an experimental turbo I recently tested... ..... those are for you bigsaint and here is another. He likes periods he almost became a peperoni pizza over those periods once

Love it except for the "death shudder" on the upper levels...

thats not a "death Shudder"



it's the trucks knees knocking together, from fear of that engine up front.
