PM3 or EZ?

I am a bit new to bombing. I noticed that a lot if people talk about EZ comp. Is it that much better than a Power Max 3? I don't pull alot. Mostly my boat which weighs 10. 5K fully fueled. I have added a boost, trans and egt gauges. Thats all for my mods. My truck is lifted on 42" tires, so that effects it also. Thanks for the help in getting an over due project.

The PM3 and the Comp are very similar for maximum power. The Comp has a timing feature that the PM3 does not. The PM3 can be had with guages in it and/or automatic defueling at high EGT. Kind of a horse apiece really. They both have strong points. Set up your signature to give us more info about your truck, click on the "user cp" tab at the top of this page and go from there. I am guessing you have an auto transmission because you have a temp guage for the transmission, either box you listed will destroy an auto transmission in very short order if you do not get it set up correctly for the power. There is a month worth of reading on transmission mods if you do a search, also a tab at the top of this page. You may also want to install a 4" exhaust and a more free flowing air filter to keep those temps in check

Go get your transmission mods done with DTT. www.dieseltrans.com then stuff some BD5's a PE COMP and KWIKKURTS B-1 turbo. You'd whoop anybody's rear. Not to mention being able to break parts whenever you want to,, or you could light up your 42" tires into expensive white smoke..... Whoops,, I must be to young to own a Diesel .

Good to hear that I am not the only young diesel owner. I am out in sunny Southern California. (although it is raining now) Thanks for the links. I am excited about bombing my truck. After I get my truck back, I plan to get some pics out to. I dont know if my drive line will handle smokin those tires. We will have to see.
