I installed the PML differential cover on my 2500 4x4 this weekend.

It took 6. 5 qts of Amsoil 75-90 to fill it, which is about a quart more than the stock cover. So far with a couple days of driving I haven't noticed the limited slip diff binding any so I think I won't need to add any friction modifier.

I didn't have to remove the sway bar to install the new cover.

The cover comes with the socket head bolts, magnetic drain plug, etc.

I paid full price for my cover and have no connection with the company other than being a satisfied customer.

Looks Good! I am still on the fence on weather I wanna do mine or not tho. This looks like a viable alternative to going super deep expanded ultra mega uv protected cover. (Not that I allready don't have one) But still choice is good.

Here's the website for the PML covers:

I hadn't heard of them either until last month when I decided I wanted to change my differential oil and decided a new cover with drain plug and a bit larger capacity would be nice. I did a search on the internet and found the PML website.

There price was lower than the Mag-Htec and I kind of liked the idea that I wouldn't have any problems installing the PML with my sway bar.

The 60 Dana cover would depend on how much deeper it is... The Mag have a cut out for the front sway bar... I like the idea of the PML covers. . going to have to look into them...

I am glad someone finally installed one of these. I also have been looking at them and was curious of there quality and ease of install. I am not crazy about having to disconnect the factory sway bar either for the Maghytec. This definately looks like a viable alternative. :)

Charlie,

I thought the quality was pretty good. Would have been nice if they had included an extra bolt and washer like some companies do, but they were all there so I guess that's a minor point.

I've got a sway bar, and the new cover dropped into place from above the sway bar without having to move the sway bar. Other than the stock cover, the only other thing I removed was the spare tire so it was more comfortable working under the truck.

The PML website claims a . 75qt increase in capacity, but it took 6. 5 qts to fill the rearend which I'd say is more like a full quart extra.

I'm a satisfied customer.

Nice looking cover! Nice looking price, too!

I am not sure what you all are talking about "removing sway bar". I installed mine and did not have to remove the bar. When I put the front one on I had to disconnect the right tie rod end. I am just curious here and wanted to know.
