After some deliberation, I decided to get a PML differential cover; not to look too flashy, but for just the added capacity, cooling, and the convenience of a drain plug. A call to Geno's got me one within a day and I was immediately impressed with the ruggedness, design and machine work on the casting. When I drained the fluid which had been in the differential a little over 50K, I wondered why I was changing it because it looked almost as good as what I was putting back in. The installation was easy and straight forward although I dropped the spare tire to give me a little extra room because I am old, fat and was working without the benefit of a ramp. Five quarts of synthetic 75W90 LS were poured into the fill hole and I could just barely touch the level with my finger. Hmm... How much do I really need to put in here? The added capacity is suppose to be 3/4 quart more than the regular/stock cover. I found the owner's manual is completely worthless when looking for the quantity to add. A call to a dealership with the VIN was made and they told me that my differential would hold 4.25 quarts. Eureka, I was right on the money. An excellent product and a good install.
