PML Front diff covers available!

I've been patiently waiting for these to become available for the '03-'05 trucks. They have them in polished or powder-coated finishes.



I'll be ordering mine here pretty quick. The guy told me to call, as they're not going to be on the website for a few weeks.



I'm not affiliated with the company in any way, I just thought you guys might like to know. They're different than the Mag-Hytec in that they have a fill plug at the same height as stock (both front and rear), they have no dip stick, and use the factory gasket to seal. I think they're cheaper, too.

Yep they finally got them done so they clearance is correct for 4x4 or 2x4 etc. The standard cover is anodized natural aluminum, this gets you the best heat transfer and cools the fluid the best. The other finishes are pretty, but contain the heat more etc. We have been dealing with PML for a long time, excellent quality product and great service etc.

We promised PML we would wait a while as the supply is small for now, they didn't want to get a deluge of orders and not be able to supply etc.

Yeah, probably so they could get the newly-designed covers to all the people that bought the old design, and found out the hard way that they didn't quite clear the track bar mount



I've had my new PML front cover on for over a month now, and there are no more clearance issues. It was a little bit of a disappointment to lose the top fill plug (the old cover had three plugs - a bottom drain, a middle check, and a top fill), because it made it really easy to re-fill (I made up a fitting with some tubing to just pump fluid in from the top, until it started leaking out the check hole in the side), but it's worth it to not have the clearance problems. It sure does simplify the fluid change process every few months (15K intervals... sheesh).
