Hey TractorNut I looked through this pictures the other day and thought that they looked great, but didn't say anything.

Well as I was looking through the Readers Rigs gallery I noticed that you have a seperate album with pictures of twin turbos & a P-pump conversion on a 24V!:--) Is that your truck? If so that is awsome to say the least. You dropped some serious $$$ on that and I bet it hauls!

Just wanted to say nice pictures of the diff cover as well as the engine compartment. ;) :D

Aaahh. . yea... well. . the diff cover and intake horn are mine. . and on my truck. . but the P-pump conversion engine is not... I could only wish...

Someone sent me those pics. . I just need to label them. . All I know is that belongs to some one named "Dave"??? I just have them in there to drool over. . and dream about. .

I have some time in the cover... everyone here wasn't impressed with my rear cover... but oh well...

Thanks...

T-nut,

I like your cover, and I think most others would to. It takes alot of time and energy to get them looking so nice. Some might not realize it, but I do. There would probably even be a market for them, if the cost was controllable. I have a polisher (Baldor 8")myself and like to tinker around. It is amazing what a difference a little time can make, alright alot of time. If you don't have to deal much with polishing, and keeping it's shine looking good, you don't understand how much effort is involved. I had a dragster we use to show, and it would take 8 hours before every show to go over all the aluminum, chrome, ss, ect. I don't think but a few who came by to see it, realized what it took to get it to look like that.

Yea. . they wanted $250 for the polished cover. . it is worth it. . but I wouldn't have bought it. . I have to Modifiy everything. . :D Can't have anything like anyone else...

Anything that I take off and that can be polished I usually do. . the Turbo and elbow will be next. . but I have to find some dead time. . Nice thing about the cover is I could spend time on it. . and not have the truck down... Wife thought I was nuts. . I spend every evening out there sanding and on that thing. . (it is a very ruff casting. . ) But it came out good. .

Going to try and purchase some intake horns today to polish. . hope to have them out soon...

Thanks
