This is WIERD!

In Feb. I got the "Death Code" and truck quit. Got new vp44 from Blue Chip, installed and ran great. Four months later, truck starts running real rough at idle, but gets great mileage, we're talki'n 26-27 MPG. Called Chip and he tells me that the comp in the pump must have factory problem and sends me a new one. Installed, runs great. Here is were it get's strange. About a month ago, developed a bad oil leak at timing chain cover. My daughter borrows the truck to go to Phoenix, were they are only 4' from Hell and just as hot, and it starts dying. Lets it sit for a while, starts, drives a couple of miles, and dies. Repeat. She takes it to a local mech. who fixes the oil leak but cannot figure out why it dies. After spending the night, they get up early the next morning, it runs great, they drive home. No more problems till yesterday, when it starts the run/die thing all over again. #@$%! Now here is the weird part. On a hunch, I pressure washed the engine to cool things down, and it worked... for a while. Then started all over. Oh, and the codes disappeared after the bath, only to come back the next day. :confused:I cleaned all the sensor connectors I could find and the connector to the injector pump, double checked connections. Any ideas?

Thank's in advance

James
