I'm getting an intermittent PO106 code that used to happen every 2 or 3 thousand miles, but now it has been happening every 60 or so. I have changed the map sensor (genos's) checked the wires to the plug for breaks, corrosion. After 5 or 6 key starts it turns off the CEL until the next time. Last few times there has been a momentary dead pedal associated with the CEL coming on. I'm worried I'm going to be walking one of these times. Engine is bone stock and changing the sensor made little difference. The only noticeable change in engine performance when the CEL is on is the exhaust brake seems slower to come on. Anyone experience this? Did a search but could find very little in the forums. Any help would be appreciated.
