Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) PO237 code

Can this code keep eng. from running? Just put Edge Comp on and it was running fine then it just quit. Scaned it and this is the only code PO237 MAP sensor voltage too low.

Try cleaning the connectors for the comp and unpluge the battery's when you do it. Got some Di-Electric grease?

I disconnected the comp completly and it still won't start just cranks over. I'll try cleaning all the connections and see what happens...

Cleaning the connectors Wont help. the comp box is probably BAD and you've fried the pump.

I'm guessing if you crank on it for a while or give it a shot of ether it will start. and run ok . then when you restart in less than 5 minutes it starts ok. longer than that and you crank for a while. as if you have a No fuel condition.

Thats what I didn't want to hear... ... . but that is the first thing to cross my mind when it died. I was diving and it just quit no noise just quit.

No other symptoms. Just hooked up comp drove about 100 miles everything working good, parked then was heading to a friends just quit running it will crank but will not fire. Disconected the comp still nothing
