pocket dynamometer

has anybody used a pocket dynamometer like the one from Geno's garage?? do they work? are they accurate?? they seem to be pretty cool!! any idea how they work??

I've used the G-tech. It seems to be pretty good for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times but was a bit inconsitant for the power. You need to find a good strait piece of road with not too much traffic. You can find the on EBAY pretty cheap. Once you use it a couple of times you don't really need it any more unless you are still adding stuff.
