POI from Garmin to truck GPS

I have been using a Garmin for a few years and have several locations stored in it. I would like to know if it is possible to down load them from the Garmin to the truck GPS. I read the book and the whole thing seems confusing to me, but I have been using the Garmin a long time. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't believe there is a way but what you might do is just type in the address and hit save ?
