New hobby time!

I need a good forum for polaris four wheelers. I've been at atvquadsquad.com , but traffic is real slow there and most of my questions go un answered.

Thanks for any help,

Matt

Do any of you guys know if it's possible to keep the front and rear axles locked together while decending a hill. On my '04. 5 Sportsman 500 H. O. , the rear axle is the only one doing any engine braking. It's very, very easy to get sideways on a hill which is... uhhh... SCARY.

I realize, this is not an atv forum, but what the heck.

I've heard of a way to trick it to leave the front axle engaged for ebs. It involves shifting to reverse before you start to descend. Sorry I can't help much more than that  .

Thanks for the websites guys. I am trying to figure out how to jet my 04 sportsman 400 for elk camp.
