I found a company called H and H polishing in NC, you have to remove ALL the paint, they polished off the Cummins Logo etc, extra holes are by me for breathers. $75. 00 plus freight back! done in one week! Call Dawn Truex 704-393-8728 ext 103. Tell her Rick from Illinois gave info out on TDR

Wow, that looks nice! Planning to shoot it with any kind of clear coat so it stays nice and shiny under the hood? Thanks a lot for the contact info, I'm thinking about doing that with my extra valve cover, now. What did you do for the paint removal, chemical strip or some kind of soft wheel?

I will tell you getting factory powder coat off is a *****! I first took all off grease. Found that strong epoxy removers worked best, used wire wheel also. All paint must be removed. It took about three cans to get it all off. Used aggressive wheel as its tuff. Don't worry about scratching metal as they polish it off. I did not use clear and will just keep it polished. As heat will yellow any coatings. Drill any holes before you ship

That's a nice job they did and a great price... thanks for posting!!

On an aside, can you explain WHY you drilled more breathers in and where you are going to run the hoses to??

Okay, I put on the Billet Tappet cover which I will run two hoses to a catch can. The breathers on top are just that, billet breathers I bought on e-bay. Since I am P pumping my truck there will no more oil breather in front.
Rick

Do you have a link to the billet breathers?

You know Hellman makesa polished valve cover with custom breather tubes, but you are talking the same kind of look and function for a FRACTION of the cost. GREAT work!!

I AM going to buy Joe's billet oil filler cap for $50.

His newer ones say Hellman Performance instead of "Cummins Power", but he said he would do one up for me with just the "Cummins " logo in the dead center of the cap. My old plastic cap just broke.

120765975368 that is item number on e-bay for Billet Breathers for top of valve cover. I bought a Billet Oil cap from Geno's that snaps over factory cap, and it was fairly cheap
