Cooker-
I used to use that stuff on the silver on my show saddle (for horses) and it was a BEOTCH to get off! I hope you have a buffer b/c you will rub your shoulder off if you try to do it by hand.
I use Turtle Wax chrome cleaner and polish and it works great. It gets all the bug splats off and it comes off easy. The trick is to let it almost dry.

I just used some good old #7 (Rain Dance) chrome polish on my tail pipe tonight. The winter had taken it's toll, could hardly tell it was chrome. It took a little elbow grease, but now is back to new.

Cooker, I use that stuff on everything. I clean and polish stainless firearms with it, chrome parts, and aircraft nose cones. I use a dremmel moto tool for the small stuff, and an electric drill with a buffing wheel for large parts. It is very easy to work with. Email me if you need more questions answered about Flitz.

Flitz is good, also try "Nevr-Dull", it works really well too but you cant get the smell off your hands for days. I wax my rims every 3 months, makes cleaning a breeze.

I use any good polish, but to clean the wheels and this may sound odd I have found that gojo, yes the hand cleaner works better than anything I have ever used to get the grime off. Removes the heavy brake dust build up on front wheels better than any cleaner you can buy and does no damage to the chrome. Then just use any good wax.

Got a small sample of the Flitz today. I tried it on my wheels (looking terrible after the winter salt attacked them).

This suff is fantastic. I have never used a chrome polish that did such a great job with such little effort. The only parts that took some elbow grease were the outer lip of the rim which was pretty corroded.

The only bad part is, the sample I received only did 1/2 of one wheel. I can't wait to do all my wheels with this stuff.
