I got 1600 miles on my 05 and it is hammered! Im gunna pull my cummins and put that awesome 6. 9 navistar in it, I suggest you all do the same!!

Wore Out?!?!?!?!

Only 175K on my '03. She finally settled down on mileage at about 70-80k, and has had no engine issues at all. I'd say she is just properly broken in. :) :) :)

Nice to see that none of the votes indicate that the engines are showing wear, with all of the votes being the first and last choices only (no votes at all for noticable wear or end of life). I doubt that the Ford and Chevy boys would/could vote the same. Based on some of the links to Diesel Stop posts those Powerstroke engines are showing wear at 50K--if they make it that far. Hmmm... I wonder if it's worth a contest and prize for the first 3rd Gen owner to get to the million mile club... :D

Wore out... ... . Hmmm... . I only have 45K on my 10/2002 build 3rd Gen. With the price of fuel 50-75¢ / gallon higher than regular unleaded I may wear out before the mighty Cummins does. :{

Yah, here is Spudville gaas has been dropping quickly, but diesel is at least 60+. I'm not driving the monster unless I have a load behind. Doc :{
