i spent the day screwing with my truck and decided to whip out the buffer and some mild compound i didn't even bother to take the lights off and did them inplace, i used a rotary buffer with a wool bonnet and after a minute or two each they looked pretty good, id say they went from generic wally world flash light quality to mag light quality, they still stink compared to my bimmer but i may hold off buying sport lights for a while as they now throw enough light to reflect off the road signs 9 years and 307k miles funks up the lenses pretty bad, id take pictures but you all know what yellow/clear lights look like :-laf

My buddy had an old dodge car, like the plymoth sundance, can't think of the name. Anyway's, it had yellow headlight's and he wanted to clean them somehow. He had tried before with no luck. I was joking about the "Flitz it" commercial's on T. V. , he said he actually had a tube. So I took a rag and put some on the headlight and buffed it by hand. The stuff actually work's. It took all the yellow off and then we took the newly pimped out ride for a hotlap around the block and you could see for once! Just thought I'd share my experience with yellow headlight's :-laf

I just replaced the first bulb on the entire truck that went out after over 10 years, it was the left low beam. I noticed that the yellow film scraped off fairly easily. I took a razor blade and scraped the yellow stuff off. It made a difference. Of course, the second one came out a little better than the first.
