Poly Mounts

2 years ago my brother and I retrofitted a '92 Cummins into his '86 D-250, at the same time we converted my '92 D-250 Diesel to 4WD. We installed a set of Johnny Spiva's Poly mounts for the engines in both trucks, and poly mounts for the 4WD T/C in mine. At that time he didn't have a rear mount for the Diesel 2WD A/T so we used a O. E. M. mount for that. We did have significantly more vibration -at idle- initially, when we raised the idle speed it quit, and it gradually went away on both trucks as we accumulated milage. At road speeds it was OK.
