Poor A/C cooling in 04.5?

Greetings All,



Gave my A/C its first good workout today in 95*F temps here in southern New England.



Tried normal and recirc modes for 20 minute run on the interstate and the best she would do is about 55*F measured at the panel ducts. (seems like a low gas charge problem) My rig was built in Jan. '04, but is new to me with 1,100 miles.



I remember a fairly recent thread about this but couldn't find it. I'm planning to stop by my ****** this morning to find out if they know anything.



Have any of you experienced this problem?

I had mine serviced at about 4000 miles. It was low on freon from the factory. Warranty covered it. We've had several days over 100 and it seems to be woring fine now.

I have the same problem. Driven 160 miles now since I picked up mine... and the A/c seems weak. I think its low on freon as well... going to take it to the dealer.



This system should put out much better.
