Poor Furd Mileage

I was getting fuel next to an '05 powersuck today.

He said that pulling his 12,000# 5vr he only gets 10. 5MPG and 12-13MPG empty.

His truck has 14,500 miles and was a $52,000 sticker King Raunch Dually.

He bought it to replace the '04 F250 Powersuck that blew a headgasket and wiped out a trans. the first year.

I LOVE my CTD.

My friends 04 was getting about the same mileage on flat interstate. :{ He took it in for a reflash,don't know if it helped. I like the Dodge,but love the CTD.

my sirvice truck is an 04 and it gets if im luckey 9 all the time going on my second transmission 3rd set of inj. and leaks all over the place i told them to get me a dodger but noooo. now they know why i said that piece of crap

10. 5 sounds about right... . that's all my 04 cummins gets pulling about 5000 pounds at 70 mph.



Gets much better empty mileage though... . around 19.
