Poor quality in door insulation

On our 04. 5 CTD. there is a weatherstrip problem on both doors where they close near the cowlings on the front. As this is a Std. cab, I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem. The insulation is being forced in and cut in this area near the cowling. Added some silicon spray to this area this AM to relieve this friction.



The delivery of this truck was made in May of 04. Its a far cry from the quality one should expect from a Co. like D/C.



One cannot observe this unless they are standing outside closeing these doors. There should be a recall in updateing this problem.

Are We alone in this problem. ? My old first gener at over 100,000 miles never had a problem like this.

The trouble with the search feature is that I normally find too much information!!
