well headgasket finaly let go last night, i was driving home and noticed that the temp gauge was fluctuating some so i thougth it was low on coolant like always. pulled into my driveay and started to hear a knock (not good) parked it and looked out the tail pipe and saw nothign but white smoke so i shut it down and it is goign to sit until my appt with ADT to get the head oringed and gasket replaced. i just hope that i didnt hurt the motor or letting it set with the possiblity of water in the cylinders for a week until it is on the trailer on its way to WV. any tips, donations, or just plain comments are welcome.

thought about fire rings but i need something that is tried and true and is going to be reliable for the next few years.

Fire rings are the only way to go for big hp #s, if you want to spend the money for the studs to go with them. just my two cents.
