Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I've had my 05 since july and it started acting up recently. I had the inpression that it was a ujount by the way it acted. However last week I had it on cruise and like a ujoint it comes an goes, except this time the vibration was beginging to effect my speed. So I took it off cruise and when ever it started I would change speed and it basically would stop,temporarily, I had to do a about a 100mile trip and kept changing speeds to keep it smoothed out. To shorten this tail I took it to the dealer and parked it. They had it up on the rack and running at about 70 looking for the cause when the engine quit or maybe derated then fired up again with a big puff of black smoke! Well I stopped in today and they had an 06 that had just quit and wouldn't start again. DC told them to start by looking at the pop off valve. Told them I would check with you guys for 'real' world experience and left. My last one was a 98 and so I am not familiar with the pop off valve. I see by other threads it may even be a lift pump!! here we go again... ... ... . any imput??
