This is my first time posting so bear with me. I am a first time owner of a CTD and I have a question. When I apply the brakes or turn to the left then turn back to the right I hear a thunk or thud coming from the back end of the truck. I had read somewhere in a previous post about some nuts not being torqued down right. I tried several searches but I guess that I was not holding my mouth right. Any direction would be helpful.

Welcome to TDR.

Without to much information from you... . I would guess that you are hearing you brake pads moving. I get a click or thunk sometimes when I apply my brakes immediately after changing directions.

Is this when you hear yours most often?

Second opinion on the subject. If you have a locking Diff then that may be the source. Still nothing to worry about.
