Hey guys,



I've been off the boards for a few (like 5) months (not by choice) and now I come back and... horrors!... POP-UPS! What happened?

The pop ups aren't coming from us. Try downloading ad aware ( http://www.ad-aware.com ) and running it. It will look for spybots on your PC that will bring up pop ups as well as other undesireable internet stuff.

I never would have thought it posible with all the different security and firewall programs I've got running, but it removed 52 different items.

Yes thanks for the post Steve. I have been annoyed by these darn pop-ups for awhile. I downloaded ad-aware last night and it found 237 items Anyway have not seen a pop-up since I ran the program!

Used ad-aware on my old computer, just downloaded it onto my new one after Steve's reminder. Of the 25 or so spywares it found 13 were from Microsoft and came attached to Windows updates.

Isn't it enough that Gates is swimming in money?

Seems he now wants to dig into our personal lives.
