You could flow-bench it and 'balance' every port so they all flow the same... .
The benefits are what you'd expect from more airflow - lower EGT's and a more efficient burn. Now that the EGT's are lower... you can pour on the fuel and make LOTS more power at the same EGT's you had before... .

Porting and polishing a forced induction engine is something you do AFTER lots of the easier, less costly and more effective power mods.
Out of the box, there not likely to be any significant variation in combustion chamber volume or flow - and 30+ PSI boost goes a LONG way in cramming cylinders with air without the assistance of smoother runners.
Yeah, you CAN get a little more HP out of the engine by porting/polishing, but it will likely be the LEAST bang for the buck you will see among available power mods...

I was told not to bother with the port and polish by a well respected big time bomber. . he said the gains where not worth it.
I was on the edge of doing it and then did not on his advice.
I have a buddy who did it at the same time he got a cam in his truck. He said boost was down a couple of pounds due to the reduced restriction, but his egt's went down due to the increased air flow at the lower pressure.
So mixxed reviews. I would have to side with Gary on this one. Its one of the last things I would do on a high HP truck (500+) as its costly. Now if you are going to pull the head to o-ring and put in a cam then what the heck, do them all at once.
