led florescent lamp replacement ?

I'm currently looking for a portable jump battery starter to include in my wife's emergency kit. She's been driving for almost 5 months and I think this kind of accessory is a must. I've been prospecting lately and I'm not a fan of china-made brands. My number 1 option is this one, https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/vjl3z-10a765-as.html - a NOCO GB-40 which is nice because it is rechargeable and noob-friendly. Any other good suggestions? A cheaper one with the same at least the same quality? Thank you!

I have that exact model. It barely started my Nissan Altima that was just clicking. It did start tho.

It barely started my Can Am atv that had a completely dead battery. It did start tho.

I charged my Samsung phone with it and the charge meter was all the way down to the last light after.

If I were to buy another one I would get one at least twice (2000amps+) the capacity.

How old is your unit?

If it’s under warranty I would consider sending it back for evaluation. NOCO has a great warranty department.

It's about 3 years old now.

According to NOCO the 2000 amp model will charge a phone 3 times or a tablet once, so it sounds about right that mine would only charge my phone once.

I bought this to carry on my atv. I am pretty sure it will work for that.

If I buy one to carry on my car or truck I would probably go with the GB150. It is kind of pricey$ tho.

I picked up a cheapo Blue Fuel from Napa. It worked one time and started giving error codes every time I plugged the cables in after that. Napa warrantied the unit and gave me a different brand that works but is certainly chinese junk. Of course after researching the topic I quickly realized that I should have purchased a NOCO unit. The cheap Chinese stuff looks appealing until you need it and it doesn't work.
