yep, on the way home last night and the truck just died when i was making a turn. 3/4 of a tank of fuel. just turn over and not hit. lift pump is working. had it hauled to a dealer. later, nick

Sorry to hear that. Fuel shutoff solenoid/relay maybe?

Good luck with it. Hope it's cheap (inexpen$ive) and quick.

well, the dealer found the porblem out this afternoon. i installed a superchip micro tuner last night. and it somehow erased the ecm program. dealer reinstalled ecm program, and now the truck is running fine. sucks to be stranded in the middle of the road. thanks, nick

glad to here it was a quick fix.

the #1 reason for things quitting working.....

fingers... yep!... fingers..... if we could resist putting our fingers into these things we would not have fun but... . awforget it! doing that would be impossible... .

the directions said to remove all non factory performance things before downloading tuner. i didn't remove the comp box, but i did turn it off. ran great for about 20 or 30 miles. speedo was right and everything. i was happy. i was slowing down to make a turn and it was dead. thought that it was my injection pump. but thankfully it wasn't. no the dealer had to down load a whole new ecm program to it. but did it for free. i was a little p-ssed off about my truck leaving me in the middle of the road and was still p-ssed this am when i woke up. but life is now good. going to pick up my truck tomorrow evening. with new 6 spd fluid. thanks for all of the help.

Bud, you are right. but not enough power if you want to pull or tow! lol! later ya'll, nick

WOW you got off good! D/C coulda bounced your rig out of the service bay if they wanted to. Good for you.

Yeah I would be ticked off but then again I could only expect that. Me I have tinkered with my rig quite a bit and am putting ALOT more power thru it than stock so I really have noone to blame for it but myself. It isn't D/C's fault but my own doings and choice.

TTMT, yep you are right. my dealer takes pretty good care of me, cause i send a bunch of service and parts business to him. yeah, like i said never would have had a problem if i had left it alone in the firdt place. but oh well.
