I say sit tight and wait for someone to make a G80 or similar locking diff for our trucks. The oem anti-spin works great until you need to go Off-Road, get through deep snow, Icy roads, Mud and when you are pulled over on the side of the road and one wheel is on dry and the other slick type of situation. My truck says it's got Anti-Spin in the glove box, but i swear it might as well be an open type.

A G80?? You can not be serious!??!

We already have enough quirks to need to worry about a G80 Gov-Bomb unit exploding... although it's performance isn't the greatest, the trac-rite is a lot more durable than any G80. I have seen way too many G80s with parts puked through the diff cover than I ever wanted to...

The main problem with an LSD right now is LACK OF AFTERMARKET SUPPORT. We are sort of limited to the trac-rite for the moment, however, the ARB and detroit should soon be on the market (hopefully).

The G-80 is great for a girl`s 1/2 ton truck... . :D

This is not the proper application for a G-80 rear diff. locker... . :--)

That thing would break on the first turn... ... .

You`ll need to find an electrical lockup unit for the best setup... . Oo.

When you find one, let us know too.

The new anti spin has to be moving to work best. Next time your stuck sitting still, put on the emergency brake 1/2 way and you will be able to drive right out of what your stuck in (at least you will if you did not bury yourself getting stuck) ;)

PS: this works on open rears also
