Can someone tell me if positive backspacing makes the wheels stick out further than stock, of if negative does this? I am looking to pick up some

20'' wheels to put under a 4'' lift, and don't want them to stick out way too far. Sticking out some is necessary, as I don't want them tucked inside the wheel well, just not too far. Thanks:confused:
 
You are going to find it's hard to get aftermarket wheels with less back spacing. You may want to think about fender flares.
